The main stage will play a central role with dance and song from around the world.
“There will be about 30 different groups from different cultures who will be performing both days on the main stage,” Randhawa noted.
Among the groups will be sea shanty singers The Lazy Jacks, Kara-Kata-Afro Beat, Mexico Vivo Dance Group, Bela Domingo Polynesian Dancers, and the headlines, The Day Trippers – a Beatles tribute band – will play before and after the fireworks at 10 p.m. on Tuesday night.
On the field, visitors will find magicians, dancing troupes, dog shows, clowns, gymnastic demonstrations, and many more entertainers.
The children’s chalet will have its own kids stage plus vendors within the chalet will offer mini golf, bouncy castles, and a wide range of games and activities.
Of course the usual kid favourites such as face painting, balloons, and arts and crafts will also be on hand.
Watch the kids stage on Monday for participants in the Kids Have Talent event, the winner of which will perform on the event main stage on the 1st.
